FAQ & Information
When is the wedding?
Mark your calendars and pack your sunnies - we’re getting married on Saturday, April 4th, 2025 at 16:30 in the stunning seaside town of Nai Yang, Phuket. Sunset vows and tropical vibes await!
Where is the wedding venue?
We’ll be saying “I do” at the gorgeous The Slate - a design-forward resort that’s equal parts industrial chic and tropical paradise.
What should I wear?
Think tropical elegance - stylish, breathable, and a touch dressed up.
-
Ladies: Flowy dresses or skirts are perfect. While closed-toe shoes are a great choice, they’re not a must - just leave the sandals for the beach. Go for something chic and dance-floor friendly.
-
Gents: A tropical suit is the move - lightweight fabrics, long pants, and a shirt to pull it all together. Closed shoes complete the look (flip-flops can stay in your suitcase).
In short: dress like you're attending a fabulous wedding in paradise - because you are.
What should I get the couple?
Your presence is the real gift - and we mean that! We’re so grateful you’re making the journey to celebrate with us.
That said, if you’re feeling extra generous and absolutely must give something, we’d love for it to be an experience we can share together - a dinner, an adventure, a bottle of something bubbly to toast with. Memories over materials, always.
(And if a gift is already on its way - thank you! We’ll open it with big smiles and full hearts.)
Where should I stay?
Nai Yang is delightfully walkable, and most of our hotel picks are just a short stroll from the venue. Here are our top recommendations:
-
The Slate (our wedding venue!) – We’ve reserved a room block!
There are, of course, plenty of options in Phuket, and taxis are widely available if you prefer to stay further from the venue. Villa rentals are also an option – just check Airbnb.
Are there other events we should plan for?
Yes - we’re turning this into a full celebration weekend, and we’d love for you to join us for more than just the “I do’s”:
Welcome Drinks – Friday, April 3rd at 5:00 PM.
Join us the afternoon before the wedding for a casual get-together to kick things off.
Dresscode : White Attire
Wedding Ceremony & Reception – Saturday, April 4th at 4:30 PM
Dresscode : Tropical Formal
Day-After Communal Event
A relaxed gathering the day after to swap stories, share laughs, and maybe cure a hangover or two.
Optional Boat Trip - Sunday, April 5th, 1:00 PM - approx. 8:00 PM.
We'd love for you to join us for a relaxing boat trip to celebrate a little longer. To help cover the cost, we'll kindly ask for a small contribution, the exact cost will depend on the number of attendees, but we will share details closer to the big day! If you are keen on a big day on the seven seas please let us know in the RSVP.
More details (times, locations, and surprises) will follow - stay tuned!
Are kids welcome?
We do adore your little ones! Kids are welcome at all our wedding events – except for the reception dinner itself. We understand this might be a bit of an issue for those traveling from afar, but reach out to us and we’ll help work something out.
What’s the weather like in Phuket?
Tropical, toasty, and a little bit unpredictable - just like us! Expect 24°C–32°C, with a side of humidity and the occasional rain shower. Pack light, breathable clothes and maybe a cute umbrella just in case.
Will there be food for dietary restrictions?
Absolutely! Please let us know about any dietary needs when you RSVP and we’ll make sure you're taken care of.
